Position: DevOps Engineer (Azure DevOps + GCP)

Experience: 5+ Years

Job Summary:

DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

CI/CD Implementation:
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using
Azure DevOps Pipelines
and integrate with GCP services.
Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve release efficiency.
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Deploy, monitor, and manage cloud resources in
GCP
(Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud Build, etc.).
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using
Terraform
,
ARM Templates
, or
Deployment Manager
.
Source Code Management:
Manage and maintain repositories using
Git
(GitHub, GitLab, or Azure Repos).
Implement Git branching strategies (GitFlow, Trunk-based development).
Automation & Scripting:
Develop automation scripts using
PowerShell
,
Bash
, or
Python
for deployments, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
Ensure scalability, performance, and security through automated checks and monitoring.
Monitoring & Logging:
Set up monitoring and alerting using tools like
Azure Monitor
,
Stackdriver
,
Prometheus
,
Grafana
, or
ELK Stack
.
Ensure proactive issue detection and performance optimization.
Collaboration:
Work closely with development and QA teams to streamline release processes.
Participate in troubleshooting and post-deployment reviews.

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of hands-on experience as a
DevOps Engineer
or related role.
Strong proficiency in
Azure DevOps
,
GCP Cloud Services
, and
Git
.
Experience with
CI/CD pipelines
,
containerization (Docker)
, and
Kubernetes (GKE/AKS)
.
Proficiency in scripting languages like
PowerShell
,
Bash
, or
Python
.
Experience with
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/ARM Templates)
.
Familiarity with
monitoring tools
(Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Stackdriver).
Understanding of
networking, security, and cloud IAM principles
.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Good to Have:

Exposure to
multi-cloud environments
(Azure + GCP integration).
Experience with
configuration management tools
like
Ansible
or
Chef
.
Knowledge of
Helm charts
,
Istio
, or
service mesh
concepts.
