DevOps Engineer ( Azure )

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

DevOps Engineer

to bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring smooth integration, continuous delivery, and efficient management of infrastructure on

Azure Cloud

. The role focuses on

automation

, software deployment, and maintaining backend services for

MAPPING Apps .

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD for automated deployments across DEV, STAGING, and PROD environments.
Provision, configure, and manage Azure cloud resources; AWS knowledge is a plus.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using Terraform.
Deploy and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters for scalable backend services.
Ensure cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization.
Automate software deployment processes and implement best practices for continuous integration and delivery.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize backend services, routing, search, mapping, and geospatial services.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues across environments.
Apply Agile, Scrum/Kanban methodologies for efficient project delivery.
Continuously learn and adopt new tools, techniques, and best practices to improve productivity and reliability.

Technical Skills Required

Strong experience in Microsoft Azure cloud services (VMs, App Services, Storage, Networking).
Knowledge of AWS cloud services is a plus.
Expertise in GitLab CI/CD, automation, and shell scripting.
Hands-on experience with Terraform or other IaC tools.
Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
Understanding of cloud security best practices and cost optimization.
Strong foundation in design principles, system architecture, and problem-solving.
