Job Overview:
vEngage is a leading provider of healthcare solutions hosted in the cloud, catering to the needs of healthcare customers. We are seeking a Dev-Ops and Application Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing production environments, handling version upgrades, patch management, and ensuring proper application configuration. You will also monitor our cloud infrastructure and applications to ensure high uptime and performance, meeting the critical requirements of our healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Environment Management:
Oversee production environments, including version upgrades, patch management, and necessary application configuration.
Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring:
Continuously monitor cloud infrastructure and applications to maintain high availability, uptime, and performance.
Application Debugging & Support:
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to applications and environments, providing timely and efficient support to meet SLAs.
Collaboration & Documentation:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support deployment activities, ensure system reliability, and create detailed documentation of all processes.
Security & Compliance:
Help ensure that security patches and updates are applied, keeping the cloud infrastructure secure and compliant.
Requirements:
Experience: 4+ years in technical support, specifically in application debugging and troubleshooting.Database Knowledge: Experience with SQL queries and database management.Linux Expertise: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Linux environments and commands.Cloud Platforms: Proficiency with one or more public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).Networking Knowledge: Basic understanding of networking concepts, including firewall management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Cloud Infrastructure Certification: GCP certification preferred (AWS or Azure certifications are also valuable).CI/CD Experience: Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
