Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Team Leader Laptop Hardware Repair to lead and manage our laptop repair operations at our Gurugram facility. This role involves overseeing a team of 5+ hardware technicians, ensuring timely, high-quality repairs, and maintaining operational efficiency in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day laptop repair activities for rental and refurbished units
• Allocate repair tasks, set priorities, and monitor team performance to ensure high productivity
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues in laptops (motherboards, displays, keyboards, batteries, etc.)
• Ensure all repairs meet RentFoxxys quality standards, SLAs, and turnaround time commitments
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment to support uninterrupted operations
• Implement and enforce SOPs, safety protocols, and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) standards
• Provide hands-on training, mentoring, and feedback to team members to enhance technical capabilities
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, QC, and customer support teams to ensure smooth workflows
• Prepare and present reports on team performance, repair status, defect trends, and inventory usage

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in laptop hardware repair
• At least 2 years of experience managing a team of technicians (team size: 8–15 preferred)
• In-depth knowledge of hardware components across leading laptop brands (HP, Dell, Lenovo, etc.)
• Prior experience in high-volume repair environments (rental, service center, or refurbishing)
• Strong leadership, task delegation, and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and inventory/ticketing tools
• Familiarity with ESD safety practices and quality control protocols

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Certification in Hardware Engineering, IT, or related technical field
• Prior experience in the laptop rental or refurbishing industry
