Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and result-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive the sales of refurbished laptops by building and maintaining relationships with retailers. The BDM will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, visiting retailers, understanding their requirements, and closing sales.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the IT hardware market, experience in B2B sales (preferably electronics or refurbished goods), and excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Market Development:
  • Visit market areas regularly to identify potential retailers and partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with computer/laptop retailers.
  • Promote the benefits of refurbished laptops and company offerings.
  1. Sales Target Achievement:
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Convert leads into successful orders and follow through till delivery/payment.
  1. Retailer Engagement:
  • Educate retailers about product quality, warranty, pricing, and after-sales service.
  • Collect and relay market feedback to management.
  1. Territory Management:
  • Develop a structured visit plan for covering assigned territory efficiently.
  • Maintain a database of retailers and track interactions.
  1. Negotiation and Closing:
  • Negotiate pricing, quantities, and terms with retailers.
  • Ensure timely order closures and payments.
  1. Reporting:
  • Submit daily/weekly visit reports and sales pipeline updates.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in IT hardware or electronics.
  • Strong network in local retail/computer hardware markets is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work on the ground.
