Job Description

As an L1 Desktop Support Engineer at the company, your role will involve providing first-line technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. You should possess excellent communication skills, a passion for technology, and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service. **Key Responsibilities:** - Respond promptly and professionally to user-reported IT issues through various channels. - Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software problems on desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. - Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and device drivers. - Set up and provide support for audio/video equipment during meetings and presentations. - Manage user accounts and handle password resets. - Collaborate with higher-level support teams to resolve complex technical issues. - Manage hardware and software inventory and maintain accurate records. - Assist in user training on IT systems and tools. - Help in setting up and maintaining computer labs and workstations. - Contribute to knowledge base articles and documentation for common issues and solutions. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent. - Prior experience as a Desktop Support Technician or in a similar role. - Proficiency in Windows operating systems. - Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and common desktop applications. - Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to convey technical information clearly. - Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality support. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. - Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. - Possession of professional certifications like CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) is advantageous.,
