Desktop Support Engineer

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for handling daily technical support activities related to desktop support, data network, and server management. Your key responsibilities will include: - Setting up desktop computers and peripherals, and testing network connections. - Installing and testing desktop software applications and internet browsers. - Ensuring the proper functioning of computer systems by testing computers. - Training end users on the usage of computer hardware and software. - Developing and managing professional working relationships with contractor personnel, co-workers, and clients. - Adhering to policies as per corporate manuals and directives. - Providing computer support for systems software and hardware. - Setting up computers and installing software/hardware for various applications and programs. - Interacting with staff on desktop problems and resolving them. - Networking and connecting computers within the organization to facilitate better communication. - Maintaining computer peripheral devices like printers and resolving associated problems.
