Job Summary:

An IT/CCTV engineer combines expertise in information technology and closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems. They are responsible for designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting both network infrastructure and CCTV systems, ensuring seamless operation and security. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Network Infrastructure: Designing, implementing, and managing network solutions (e.g., LAN, WAN, wireless). 
• Configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. 
• Troubleshooting network connectivity issues and performance problems. 
• Ensuring network security and protection against cyber threats. 
• CCTV Systems: Designing and installing CCTV systems, including cameras, recording devices, and monitors. 
• Configuring CCTV systems for optimal performance and coverage. 
• Troubleshooting CCTV system hardware and software issues. 
• Maintaining and upgrading CCTV systems to meet evolving security needs. 
• Integrating CCTV systems with other security and IT systems. 
• Providing technical support and training to users. 
• Documenting system configurations and troubleshooting procedures. 
• Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies in networking and CCTV.
