Job Summary: An IT/CCTV engineer combines expertise in information technology and closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems. They are responsible for designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting both network infrastructure and CCTV systems, ensuring seamless operation and security. Roles & Responsibilities: Network Infrastructure: Designing, implementing, and managing network solutions (e.g., LAN, WAN, wireless). Configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. Troubleshooting network connectivity issues and performance problems. Ensuring network security and protection against cyber threats. CCTV Systems: Designing and installing CCTV systems, including cameras, recording devices, and monitors. Configuring CCTV systems for optimal performance and coverage. Troubleshooting CCTV system hardware and software issues. Maintaining and upgrading CCTV systems to meet evolving security needs. Integrating CCTV systems with other security and IT systems. Providing technical support and training to users. Documenting system configurations and troubleshooting procedures. Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies in networking and CCTV.
