Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

Role Summary

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused

Desktop Support Engineer

to join our IT team.The role involves providing technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of desktop systems across the organization. Dealing with customer contact points and ensuring their satisfaction is a key requirement of the role.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
Respond to support tickets, diagnose problems, and resolve technical issues promptly.
Provide remote and on-site support to end-users.
Install and update operating systems and application software.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and profiles.
Maintain asset inventory of IT equipment.
Educate users on basic troubleshooting and best practices.
Ensure all tasks comply with IT policies and security standards.

Required Skills

Experience on configuring devices to connect to corporate domain
Installation of MS Office, Antivirus, any other software
Knowledge of Windows operating systems (installation, configuration, troubleshooting)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common desktop applications
Knowledge of Active Directory (user account creation, permissions)
Ability to install, upgrade, and maintain hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals)
Basic understanding of antivirus, backup, and security tools

Experience:

1-4 Years

Minimum academic qualifications:

Any Graduate or Diploma
