Designing Engineers (Electrical & Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities of Electrical Design Engineers:

• Develop and review electrical system designs including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
• Prepare detailed electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), and panel schedules using design software (AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, etc.).
• Perform load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop analysis, and circuit protection studies.
• Select appropriate electrical components and equipment (transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, etc.).
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and architectural teams to ensure integrated MEP design.
• Prepare technical specifications, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and tender documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable standards (NEC, IEC, IS, IEEE) and safety regulations.
• Provide technical support during procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Review vendor submissions and ensure equipment matches design intent.
• Support value engineering and design optimization to reduce cost and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities of Mechanical Design engineers:

• Design mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, piping, machinery, or equipment using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.).
• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models, assembly layouts, fabrication drawings, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
• Conduct engineering calculations for load, stress, fluid flow, thermal performance, etc., to ensure design feasibility.
• Select appropriate materials and components based on performance, cost, and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with electrical, civil, and manufacturing teams to ensure integrated and functional designs.
• Support the development of product specifications, technical documentation, and user manuals.
• Assist in prototype development, testing, and validation of mechanical designs.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards (ASHRAE, ISHRAE, ASME, ISO, etc.).
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and product improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
