Role Description

The Design Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmednagar. The primary responsibilities include overseeing and managing the design process for seating systems and assemblies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring design specifications meet client requirements. The Design Manager will also be responsible for optimizing product designs to align with manufacturing capabilities and quality standards, while ensuring deadlines and efficiency goals are achieved.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in design and drafting tools, including CAD software and design simulation tools.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal and metal tube fabrication processes.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and organizational abilities to manage design teams and timelines.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for innovative design solutions and process improvements.
• Thorough understanding of automotive industry standards and quality assurance protocols.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Relevant work experience in automotive design or a manufacturing environment is highly beneficial.
