Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop mechanical designs, layouts, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
• Create, modify, and review 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software.
• Perform basic mechanical design calculations related to strength, load, and material selection.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Support prototype development, testing, and design optimization activities.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, codes, and specifications.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, Bill of Materials (BOM), and revision control records.
• Assist in resolving design-related issues during manufacturing, assembly, and installation.
• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to improve product performance and reliability.

Key Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in

  AutoCAD

• Working knowledge of 3D CAD tools such as

  SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo

  , or similar.
• Basic understanding of

  Strength of Materials

  and mechanical design principles.
• Knowledge of

  fabrication, welding, machining, and sheet metal processes

  and relevant engineering standards.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Educational background in Mechanical Engineering (Degree or Diploma).
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design and drafting.
• Exposure to manufacturing environments will be an added advantage.
