Design Engineer (Mechanical)

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical components, systems, and products. This role requires strong expertise in CAD software, knowledge of manufacturing processes, and problem-solving abilities to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and reliable design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, etc.).
• Conduct feasibility studies, design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
• Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, electronics, manufacturing, quality, and procurement) to ensure designs meet project requirements.
• Perform design validation through simulations, prototyping, and testing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality requirements.
• Support product lifecycle management (from concept to production).
• Troubleshoot design issues and provide engineering support during manufacturing and assembly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, cost optimization, and design efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience (0–5 years) in mechanical design engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, AutoCAD, or NX).
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and material properties.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, casting, injection molding, etc.).
• Understanding of FEA/CFD tools for structural and thermal analysis (preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
