Design Engineer (Draftsman)

Position: Draftsman (Boiler Manufacturing)

Location: Ghaziabad

Experience: 2-5 years

Responsibilities:

Develop detailed technical drawings and designs for boilers and related components using Solid Edge and AutoCAD software.

Interpret and incorporate design requirements, specifications, and instructions into drawings.

Collaborate with design engineers to refine designs and ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Modify and revise existing designs as required to accommodate changes or resolve issues.

Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation in an organized and accessible manner.

Prepare detailed layout drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication drawings for manufacturing processes.

Ensure that designs and drawings adhere to relevant safety and quality standards, codes, and regulations.

Coordinate with production teams to resolve design-related queries during manufacturing.

Support the development of BOMs (Bill of Materials) based on drawings and designs.

Assist in the review and approval of design documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Stay updated on the latest design tools, techniques, and best practices relevant to boiler manufacturing.

Required Education:

ITI/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in Design Software:

Expertise in Solid Edge and AutoCAD for drafting and design work.

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and boiler components.

Attention to Detail:

Ability to produce accurate, clear, and comprehensive technical drawings.

Communication Skills:

Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers and production staff.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Capability to address design challenges and suggest practical solutions.
