Design Coordinator / Design Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Understand architectural, interior, landscape, and lighting design intent and translate it into clear, buildable lighting solutions.
  
• Communicate design ideas confidently in English with clients, architects, internal teams, and site installers.
  
• Participate in design ideation and problem-solving discussions, contributing practical and creative lighting solutions.
  
• Plan project timelines, allocate internal resources, and track deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
  
• Drive completion of drawings, calculations, and documentation in line with client deadlines and design quality expectations.
  
• Proactively follow up with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal team members to unblock dependencies and close tasks.
  
• Review design outputs for intent alignment, technical sanity, and completeness before issue to clients or site.
  
• Maintain control over revisions, drawings, meeting notes, and approvals to ensure clarity and traceability.
  
• Coordinate with site teams to resolve execution constraints while protecting the original design intent.
  
• Identify risks early design gaps, missing inputs, site constraints and propose workable solutions.
  
• Handle disagreements or conflicting inputs diplomatically, balancing design quality, cost, and timelines.
  
• Guide and support junior team members through clear instructions, feedback, and expectation setting.
  
• Take ownership of assigned projects from concept through execution support, ensuring smooth delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile & Experience:

1. Openings for Intermediate ( 2-5 yrs exp) and Senior ( 6-8 yrs exp) roles
2. Excellent communication, coordination and presentation skills
3. Good pratical knowledge in AutoCAD, 3D renderings (Sketchup, D5, VRay), Lighting Softwares (Dialux Evo) Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Revit (BIM), MS Office ( Powerpoint, Excel)
4. Prior experience in reputable Architecture, Interior Design, MEP, or specialized Lighting Design firms is preferred.
5. Basic understanding or practical experience in

   architectural lighting design

   will be a significant advantage.
6. Positive attitude, willingness to collaborate, and strong team-player mindset.

Education:

Diploma or Bachelors in :

Civil or Electrical Engineering

Interior design or Architecture
