Design Automation Engineer

As a Mechanical Design Engineer at our company, you will be part of the Mechanical Design team, where your primary focus will be on design and development of automation systems. Your role will involve designing EOAT (End of Arm Tooling) and conveyor systems, applying engineering principles in mechanics and manufacturing processes, developing pneumatic and hydraulic system designs, and utilizing CAD/CAE software for design and documentation. You will also be required to support simulation and design validation activities, following standard design protocols including GD&T as per ISO standards. Key Responsibilities: - Design and development of automation systems, including layout planning and component selection - Design of EOAT (End of Arm Tooling) and conveyor systems - Apply engineering principles in mechanics and manufacturing processes - Develop and interpret pneumatic and hydraulic system designs - Utilize CAD/CAE software for design and documentation - Support simulation and design validation activities - Follow standard design protocols including GD&T as per ISO standards Qualification Required: - B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - Additional professional training (e.g., IMTMA) in design, analysis tools, or simulation software In this role, you will need to have proficiency in CAD/CAE software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc., familiarity with design optimization and simulation tools, and basic computer literacy. Additionally, strong verbal and written communication skills in English, good interpersonal and teamwork abilities, and willingness to travel based on project requirements are essential for success in this position. You should also be flexible to work varied hours when necessary.
