Design Automation Engineer

As a Junior Design Automation Engineer at Hitech, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and maintaining software and tools used in the design automation process. You will work closely with senior engineers and designers to automate design processes and improve efficiency. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain scripts, programs, and tools that automate repetitive tasks in the design process. You will drive Works & Cad customization (SolidWorks, Inventor), Macro generation, and be a quick learner. You will be responsible for program development for design and development activities, as well as develop and support SolidWorks and Drive Works automation. Additionally, you will execute Drive Works development as per requirements/specifications provided by the Engineering Department. You will also develop creative, innovative solutions for global users and drive the usage of tools with global users through proactive support, training & demos. Moreover, you will actively contribute to the development of better processes and work towards developing best practices. You will assist in the implementation of specific automation requirements and effectively apply engineering concepts to design situations with minimal assistance. To excel in this role, you should have experience with c#, VB.net, VB, SQL database, Drive Works & Cad customization (SolidWorks, Inventor), and Macro generation. Being a quick learner with basic interpersonal skills and the ability to identify problems and seek help when needed is essential. You should take responsibility for your tasks and seek to learn more. As a candidate, you should have Fresher to 2 years of experience and hold a BE in Mechanical. Proficiency in software skills such as Drive Works, C#, .net, VB, SQL database, and Cad Software is required.
