Role Overview

Deputy Production Manager – Warp Knitting

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and support

  daily warp knitting operations

  for Raschel knitting machines.
• Monitor

  machine performance, fabric quality, and production efficiency

  .
• Implement and maintain

  Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

  within the knitting department.
• Supervise shift operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure minimal downtime.
• Work closely with the Production Manager to optimize

  production schedules, output, and manpower utilization

  .
• Ensure compliance with

  quality standards, safety norms, and ISO practices

  .
• Collaborate with the maintenance team for

  machine upkeep and preventive maintenance

  .
• Assist in

  training and mentoring junior operators

  and technical staff.
• Maintain detailed

  production records, reports, and KPIs

  for continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma/Degree in

  Textile Engineering / Knitting Technology

  or related field.
• Minimum

  10 years of hands-on experience

  in warp knitting, specifically

  Raschel knitting

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  yarn properties, machine settings, tension control, and fabric structures

  .
• Proven background in

  quality assurance, production optimization, and GMP implementation

  in knitting operations.
