Deputy Process Engineering Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Process Engineering & Optimization

   :
• Design, develop, and refine manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Implement and promote lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvement.
• Develop comprehensive process flow diagrams, SOPs, and work instructions for all operations.

2. Cross-functional Collaboration

   :
• Partner with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
• Provide technical leadership in resolving process challenges.

3. CNC Programming & Tooling

   :
• Manage CNC tooling selection, setup, and optimization to ensure precise machining operations.
• Develop and implement advanced CNC programming strategies.

4. NPD Proveout

   :
• Lead proveout activities for new product development, ensuring a smooth transition from design to production.

5. Welding, Assembly & Painting Oversight

   :
• Develop and optimize processes for welding, assembly, and painting to achieve superior results.
• Ensure process reliability and compliance with safety and quality standards.

6. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

   :
• Analyze key process performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct time and motion studies to streamline operations and maximize productivity.

7. Compliance & Safety

   :
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards across all processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Educational Qualification

  :

• BE/B.Tech

  in Mechanical Engineering OR

  Diploma (DME)

  with 1020 years of relevant experience.

• Industry Experience

  :
• Proven track record in the engineering or hydraulic manufacturing industry.

• Technical Expertise

  :
• Strong knowledge of CNC tooling, programming, welding, assembly, painting, and NPD (New Product Development) prove out.
• Hands-on experience in process design, optimization, and quality improvement initiatives.

Skills and Attributes:

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Expertise in machining, welding, assembly, and painting processes.
• Proficiency in CNC tooling, programming, and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing, six sigma, and other continuous improvement tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive results.
