Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Process Design Engineer with strong hands-on exposure in manufacturing process design, process documentation, and shop-floor implementation for hydraulic / engineering components.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare stage-wise process drawings using AutoCAD / ZWCAD
Create and maintain Process BOMs (SAP preferred)
Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) for new and existing products
Prepare and update PFMEA and Control Plans
Define and standardise manufacturing processes for:

Turning, Milling, Drilling
Honing, Grinding
Plating,Heat Treatment
Welding,Assembly, Testing & Painting

Support NPD activities and ensure smooth transition from design to production
Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Design teams to resolve process issues
Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and cost

Preferred candidate profile

BE / DME Mechanical Engineering
4 to 8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/process engineering
Experience in hydraulics or the heavy engineering industry preferred

Required Skills

AutoCAD / ZWCAD
Process BOM creation (SAP preferred)
Stage-wise process drawing preparation
PFD, PFMEA & Control Plan preparation
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
Exposure to hydraulics/engineering components preferred
