Process Designer

As a CAD P&ID Drafter at L&T, your role involves reading and fully understanding P&ID's and other related documents describing the scope of work. You will be responsible for preparing simple to complex engineering P&ID drawings with minimal supervision. Additionally, you will update P&IDs from basic red-line data provided and demonstrate proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Smart Plant, and Document Management System. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare simple to complex engineering P&ID drawings - Update P&IDs from basic red-line data - Identify field, mechanical equipment, electrical, instrumentation, and piping components - Create, modify, and maintain P&ID drawings following drafting standards and Management of Change (MOC) information - Apply client Engineering Standards for technical support and assignments - Interpret engineering mark-ups and make accurate drawing corrections - Field as-built P&IDs for project scope and common field changes for Project Closure and PHA purposes - Assist with non-P&ID drawings such as mechanical, inspection drawings, and plot plans - Collaborate with Design and PSV groups for Project P&ID Drawings and field verification updates - Maintain a cooperative and efficient team working environment - Communicate professionally both verbally and in written form - Meet or exceed company and customer safety standards and comply with all procedures, engineering practices, and standards Qualifications Required: - Mid-level design experience in Instrument, Electrical & Controls - Proficient in CAD software including AutoCAD, Smart Plant - Understanding of P&ID's, One-Lines, Instrument Loop Diagrams, and Schematics - Familiarity with Management of Change (MOC) processes - Ability to interpret and apply Engineering Standards - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawing corrections If there are any additional details about the company provided in the job description, please share them so I can incorporate them into the final output.,
