Senior Manager-Quality

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality strategy, policies, and processes aligned with business objectives
• Ensure compliance with operational needs regarding price, quality, and delivery targets
• Oversee and resolve all quality issues related to internal processes, suppliers, customers, and warranty claims
• Conduct root cause analysis of product issues and implement permanent corrective actions
• Collaborate with stakeholders for efficient resolution of quality concerns
• Perform regular audits of processes and products, ensuring compliance with standards
• Maintain and monitor control plans, analysis of key quality metrics, and drive improvements
• Ensure adherence to relevant standards: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 3834, etc.
• Provide training and promote a culture of quality organisation-wide
• Collaborate cross-functionally during new product development or changes to ensure quality integration
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and supplier quality management
• Collect and act on customer feedback for product and process enhancements
• Oversee documentation and risk management related to product quality

Preferred candidate profile

The Senior Manager Quality will oversee all quality-related activities, including the implementation and management of ISO systems and other quality standards. The role ensures the highest levels of product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of hydraulic cylinder manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Proven leadership skills with ability to manage and motivate diverse teams
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Effective communication for cross-functional collaboration
• Exposure to Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies preferred
• Flexibility to work extended hours or shifts to meet quality objectives
