Job Description:– Assembly Manufacturing Manager Company: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. – Farm Division Location: Nagpur Department: Assembly Manufacturing Reporting To: Plant Head / Head – Manufacturing Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:- Drive manpower cost control through productivity improvements on the assembly line. Achieve cost reduction targets across scrap, consumables, and manpower. Plan, control, and monitor the departmental budget. Ensure Straight Pass Ratio (SPR) > 90% through defect prevention and quality improvements. Conduct defects data analysis and implement corrective measures. Lead market complaint analysis, resolution, and monitoring to improve customer satisfaction. Lead the assembly manufacturing team in meeting PQCDSM (Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, Morale) objectives. Ensure timely delivery of products as per production plan. Coordinate with internal departments, external stakeholders, and vendors to drive improvements. Drive new product establishment and smooth transition to mass production. Ensure adherence to training schedules for both workers and staff. Handle daily manpower management, resolve conflicts, and maintain team discipline. Inspire, mentor, and review the performance of subordinates. Conduct gap analysis of production loss, quality loss, and breakdowns; initiate corrective actions. Ensure effective synchronization of parts across multiple models for smooth operations. Preferred Industries:-Manufacturing (Automotive / Farm Equipment / Heavy Engineering preferred) Educational Qualification:-Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Production / Industrial) B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics / Mechanical / Production General Experience[Insert required years] of relevant experience in assembly/manufacturing operations. Strong experience in production planning, manpower management, and cost control. Exposure to new product launches, vendor coordination, and customer complaint resolution. Key Skills & Competencies:- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly line operations. Proficiency in data analysis, defect analysis, and root cause resolution. Leadership and team management skills with ability to inspire workforce. Knowledge of quality systems and PQCDSM frameworks. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
