Shift In Charge - Steel and Project Cargo is responsible for overseeing the shift operations related to the handling and transportation of steel and project cargo at the port. This role ensures that all shift activities are conducted in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner, with a focus on meeting operational targets and maintaining service quality.Responsibilities
Shift Operations Oversight:
Direct all shift-related activities for steel and project cargo, ensuring operations run smoothly and according to schedule.Resource Management
Assess and manage the allocation of resources, such as equipment and personnel, to effectively handle steel and project cargo during the shift.Safety Comlpiance
Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and ensure all shift operations comply with regulatory standards for steel and project cargo.Client Relationship Management
Engage with clients during the shift to address any immediate operational concerns and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.Logistics Management
Coordinate the logistics aspects of steel and project cargo movements, ensuring efficient loading, unloading, and transportation during the shift.Continuous Process Improvement
Monitor key performance indicators during the shift and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.Digital Mindset
