Job Description

We are looking for a skilled professional with 7 to 12 years of experience to join our team as a Deputy Manager- Materials in the glass industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials management and a proven track record of success.

Roles and Responsibility

Manage and oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of raw materials and supplies.
Develop and implement effective inventory control systems to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production and operations.
Analyze market trends and supplier performance to negotiate better prices and terms.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Lead and motivate a team of material management professionals to achieve departmental goals.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in any discipline; relevant certifications or training programs are advantageous.
Proven experience in materials management, preferably in the glass industry.
Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, and procurement practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
