Job Description

Position Summary

The Raw Material Head oversees strategic management of raw materials, focusing on scrap reduction, forming shop operations, and implementation of efficient storage solutions. This role ensures long-term optimization of material usage and supports organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Investigate and identify reasons for high scrap generation; implement corrective measures.
Manage operations of the Forming Shop.
Oversee scrap identification and disposal processes.
Implement improved storage solutions with focus on space utilization, identification, traceability, and retrieval.
Provide leadership and guidance to the Raw Material Engineer and team.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in raw material management.

Qualifications & Skills

B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
10-12 years of experience in raw material management, with leadership exposure.
Strong knowledge of forming operations and scrap management.
Proven ability to implement process improvements and storage optimization.
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
