About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer (Deputy Manager/Manager)to lead and manage aerospace special processes. The ideal candidate will oversee process control, ensure compliance with industry standards, support audits, drive continuous improvement, and work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve world-class manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage special processes including anodizing, passivation, electroplating, surface preparation, and aerospace painting.
• Ensure compliance with NADCAP AC7108, AS9100, OEM specs, MIL-STD, AMS, ISO, and customer requirements.
• Monitor and control critical parameters (temperature, pH, conductivity, ampere density, dwell time, etc.).
• Perform chemical bath monitoring, trending, and stabilization.
• Conduct feasibility studies, new chemical evaluations, process validation, and NPI/NPD qualifications.
• Execute quality testing: Salt spray, adhesion, thickness checks, corrosion resistance, etc.
• Develop and maintain Process Sheets, Control Plans, PFMEA, PFD, SOPs, Work instructions.
• Lead RCA/RRCA, CAPA, SPC, and continuous improvement (Kaizen, Six Sigma).
• Ensure readiness for NADCAP, customer, and internal audits**.
• Collaborate with Production, QA, NDT, and Maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
• Train and mentor engineers/GET on special processes and safety practices.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Aerospace Special Processes.
• In-depth understanding of AS9100, NADCAP, and QMS requirements.
• Expertise in drawing interpretation and translating specifications into process controls.
• Excellent problem-solving (5-Why, Ishikawa, SPC) and decision-making skills.
• Experience in automation sequencing and process optimization.
• Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Advanced understanding of lab testing and process risk identification (KPPs).
