Process Operation & Monitoring:
Operate plant machinery (crushers, mills, kiln) from the CCR, ensuring parameters temp, pressure, flow) stay within set limits,.
Quality Control:
Monitor raw meal, clinker, and cement quality, coordinating with labs and following procedures for non-conforming products.
Data & Reporting:
Log operational data, energy usage, and production figures; handle administrative tasks and shift reports.
Coordination:
Liaise with field operators, supervisors, maintenance, and logistics (trucks, silos) for smooth flow and issue resolution.
Safety & Compliance:
Implement safety procedures (lock-outs), report hazards, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards (ISO, OHS).
Maintenance Support:
Conduct basic functional tests, report malfunctions, and coordinate with technical teams for repairs.
Shift Management:
Take over from the previous shift, ensuring all necessary information is transferred for continuous operation.

Preferred candidate profile

Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering (Chemical or Cement Technology).
Experience:
Relevant experience in cement or related process industries, often requiring 3-7+ years in CCR operations
Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of cement plant processes, automation, quality assurance, and energy management.
