Key Responsibilities:

Lead
Paint Shop production operations
for fabricated parts with processes such as:

Wet on Wet Painting
2K Kitchen
Phosphating

Drive
productivity, quality, OEE, and paint deposition ratio
improvements.
Ensure compliance with
BGPP Audit
standards.
Oversee and enforce
safety protocols
specific to paint shop operations.
Apply
Statistical Process Control (SPC)
and
BIQ principles
to ensure quality and consistency.
Implement
autonomous maintenance practices
for paint shop equipment.
Lead manpower, workflow, and resource planning to achieve production targets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and cost optimization.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education:
B.E. / B. Tech. (preferably in
Paint Technology
).
Experience:
5 – 10 years of hands-on experience in a
medium-sized Paint Shop
within
Yellow Goods / Railway Pre-Fabs / Fabrication Industry
.
Skills Required:

Strong expertise in paint shop production & process management.
Knowledge of painting techniques – Wet on Wet, 2K Kitchen, Phosphating.
OEE, Paint Deposition Ratio improvement.
BGPP Audit compliance.
Safety aspects in paint shops.
SPC and BIQ principles.
Autonomous maintenance practices.
Leadership and team management skills.
