Key Responsibilities:

Procurement of
Bill of Materials
including steel, proprietary parts, bought-out items, tooling, and fixtures.
Vendor development, evaluation, and management for cost, quality, and timely delivery.
Ensure smooth supply chain operations supporting fabrication and heavy engineering projects.
Lead
price negotiations, costing analysis, and contract finalization
with suppliers.
Effective use of
SAP
for purchase planning, order management, and vendor transactions.
Align sourcing strategy with company objectives and industry best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education:
B.E. / B. Tech. with specialization in
Materials Management
(preferred).
Experience:
10 -15 years in an
Organised Tier-1 Supplier
in
Yellow Goods / Railway / Heavy Engineering / Fabrication Industry
.

Immediate Joinee Preferred.

Skills Required:

Strong negotiation & costing skills.
Excellent knowledge of SAP (mandatory).
Proven expertise in vendor development and procurement strategy.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
