Job Description

EHS Professional

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance & Updates:

Maintain in-depth knowledge of EHS-related regulations and ensure compliance across operations.
Monitor and implement changes in regulatory requirements.

Safety Roadmap & Planning:

Develop and manage the Safety Roadmap in collaboration with the Plant Manager.
Drive initiatives to improve workplace safety and meet task deadlines.

Risk Assessment & Mitigation:

Conduct risk assessments and apply the hierarchy of controls.
Implement mitigation measures and ensure risk management practices are followed.

Incident Investigation & Reporting:

Investigate incidents/accidents using systematic techniques.
Submit MIS reports to local and corporate teams.

Contractor Safety Management:

Integrate safety practices into contractor selection and management.
Conduct contractor safety evaluations.

Crisis Management:

Actively participate in the Crisis Management Committee.
Support emergency preparedness and response.

Continuous Improvement & Best Practices:

Recommend improvements and implement best practices across EHS functions.
Raise CAPEX requests for new safety equipment as required.

EHS & ISO Standards Expertise:

Ensure compliance with ISO standards
9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001
.
Promote EHS culture and awareness across teams.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education:
B.E. / B. Tech. with specialization in
EHS / Industrial Safety / Environment
.
Experience:
5 10 years in EHS management within
Heavy Engineering / Fabrication Industry
.
Strong knowledge of EHS laws, ISO systems, and risk management practices.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
