 Deputy Manager - Business Loans - Indirect 
 About The Role  
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager - Business Loans - Indirect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the indirect business loans portfolio by developing relationships with channel partners, driving sales, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.  Key Responsibilities 
  • Develop and manage a network of channel partners, including DSAs, brokers, and other intermediaries, to generate business loan leads.
  • Evaluate loan proposals sourced through indirect channels and ensure adherence to credit policies and guidelines.
  • Drive the achievement of sales targets for business loans through indirect channels by implementing effective strategies.
  • Train, motivate, and guide channel partners for optimum performance and service delivery.
  • Coordinate with credit, risk, and operations teams to ensure smooth processing and disbursal of loans.
  • Monitor portfolio quality and proactively manage delinquencies to maintain healthy asset quality.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and potential channel partners.
  • Ensure strict compliance with internal policies, regulatory norms, and industry best practices.
  • Prepare regular reports on channel performance, loan disbursements, and portfolio health for management review.
  • Address customer and partner queries promptly to deliver high levels of satisfaction and retention.

  •  Qualifications and Skills 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in business loans or SME lending, preferably through indirect channels.
  • Strong understanding of credit evaluation and risk assessment for business loans.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with channel partners.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and loan management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
