 Deputy Manager - Business Loans - Direct 
 About The Role  
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Deputy Manager for our Business Loans division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directly managing the business loans portfolio, ensuring business growth, and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels. This role involves driving loan sales, overseeing end-to-end loan processing, and managing a team to achieve organizational targets.  Key Responsibilities 
  • Drive the acquisition of new business loan customers through direct sales channels.
  • Oversee the entire process of business loan disbursement, from lead generation to documentation and approval.
  • Manage and mentor a team of sales officers to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management guidelines.
  • Coordinate with internal departments including credit, operations, and legal to ensure smooth loan processing.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, portfolio quality, and market feedback to senior management.
  • Handle customer queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

  •  Qualifications & Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in business loans, SME lending, or related financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of business loan products, underwriting processes, and credit assessment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a target-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

  •  Preferred Skills 
  • Experience in direct sales of business loans or SME financial products.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with business clients.
  • Understanding of local market dynamics and regulatory landscape.
