Treasury / Fund Management

• Assess the funds requirement of the company- short, medium, and long term and make recommendations on sourcing.
• Implement alternate ways of sourcing funds in consultation with CFO with inherent cost benefits and bring operational efficiency in the corporate finance department
• Analyse Risk Scenario which includes customer credit management, vendor/contractor financial analysis, liability claims management, business disaster recovery, forex exposure and company assets and develop risk mitigation strategies
• Monitor working capital position and ensure that favourable position is maintained
• Ensure effective utilization of funds, including investment of idle funds to get optimum yield
• Review all the Capital Investment proposals for the plant and provide recommendations on the approval of the same
• Ensure funds mobilization from FIs / Banks at competitive pricing to meet working capital and project requirements of the organization

Taxation

• Responsible for Direct Tax.

Treasury

• Assess the funds requirement of the company in consultation with the Head Corporate Finance short, medium and long term and make recommendations on sourcing in line with the overall corporate guidance
• Continually monitor domestic and international investment avenues in collaboration with the
• Banking and cash flow head, to facilitate prudent investment decision making.
• Track the utilization of funds, including investment of idle funds to get optimum yield
• Determine the competitive pricing for funds mobilization from financial institutions and Banks to meet working capital and project requirements of the organization, negotiate for the same.
• Suggest innovative and alternate ways of sourcing funds with inherent cost benefits and bring operational efficiency in the corporate finance department
• Conduct Risk Scenario Assessment which includes customer credit management, vendor/contractor financial analysis, liability claims management, business disaster recovery, forex exposure and company assets and develop risk mitigation strategies
• Decide on the Forex hedging positions in coordination with the leadership team to shield organization from market fluctuations
• Monitor working capital position and ensure that favourable position is maintained
• Provide updates to Head – HO finance and leadership team on various aspects of treasury operations

Budgeting & Reporting:

• Provide scenario simulations based on market changes and changes on key assumptions made for the budget
• Initiate the annual budgeting exercise and for this purpose provide previous year figures and analysis reports as required to the CFO and BU Finance heads
• Prepare accurately the detailed location / team wise budget and projected profitability statements including detailed manpower budgets and the work force mix
• Collect and Review actual revenue and expense figures regularly with the approved budget and provide regular reports every fortnightly / monthly to all concerned CXO / BU Heads and highlight variances

MIS & Statutory:

• Update Compliance checklist & ensure monthly compliance of the same
• Implement operational best practices for Compliance management
• Verify and ensure completion of month-end closing activities as defined in month-end closing checklist and collate the necessary documents from the team.
• Collate & prepare information for Internal Audit, Statutory audit, ITR filing, Tax assessments.
• Resolve queries of auditors, tax authorities.
• Prepare & assist in presentation of all reports pertaining to Budgets, MIS, fund flow etc. to the Budgeting lead
• Collate monthly financial numbers and analyse the same- Consolidate financial numbers and present to Management revenue wise, product wise, quantity wise
• Prepare quarterly results of the company- Prepare board note and analysis for board members- Prepare quarterly publication format as per listing agreement- Receive estimates annually from the Units, review, consolidate and present them to the Management
