Job Description

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, quality, and safety standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and contractors to coordinate project activities
  • Develop project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resources required, and budgets
  • Expertise in construction of electrical BTG, BOP and other packages in thermal power plant.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Oversee the selection and procurement of materials, equipment, and resources for projects
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to project team members
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and quality
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate project updates effectively
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in project management

Qualifications

Education Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Project Management (preferred)

Experience

  • Minimum of 16-20 years of experience in the Power/Energy industry
  • Demonstrated track record of successful electrical project management
  • Experience in overseeing large-scale electrical projects from conception to completion
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive project deliverables
