Deputy Engineer - Electrical Maintenance (P-5963)

The candidate should have expertise in machine maintenance, control circuits, safety compliance, and hands-on experience with industrial electrical equipment such as PLCs, VFDs, and heat treatment furnaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Safety Monitoring:

  Monitor and ensure electrical safety protocols are adhered to, maintaining a safe working environment.

• Machine Maintenance:

  Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting for electrical machinery to ensure optimal performance.

• Control Circuits:

  Apply knowledge of control circuits to diagnose and repair issues effectively.

• Phase Circuits:

  Understand and work with phase circuits for electrical distribution and maintenance.

• PLCs and VFDs:

  Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) to ensure proper functioning.

• IATF 16949:2016 Documentation:

  Maintain and update documentation in accordance with IATF 16949:2016 standards.

• MCC Panels Maintenance:

  Perform regular maintenance on Motor Control Centers (MCC) panels.

• Exhausts and Blowers Maintenance:

  Ensure proper maintenance of exhaust systems and blowers.

• Leak Detectors and Fire Alarm Panels:

  Maintain and troubleshoot leak detectors and fire alarm panels to ensure safety and compliance.

• Kaizens and CI Lean Activities:

  Implement Kaizens and Continuous Improvement (CI) lean activities to enhance operational efficiency.

• Effective Communication:

  Communicate effectively with WM (Work Management) grade employees to coordinate maintenance activities and address issues.

• Continuous Heat Treatment Furnaces:

  Apply knowledge to maintain and troubleshoot continuous heat treatment furnaces.

• LT Panels and APFC Panels Maintenance:

  Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of Low Tension (LT) panels and Automatic Power Factor Correction (APFC) panels.

• Technical Skills:

  Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control circuits, phase circuits, PLCs, VFDs, MCC panels, and various maintenance activities.

• Standards Knowledge:

  Familiarity with IATF 16949:2016, CQI-09 requirements, and Kaizen/CI lean activities.

• Experience:

  Previous experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
