Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Plan, organize, and oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for all mechanical, electrical, and utility equipment.
Ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and enhance equipment performance.
Monitor equipment health and drive root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
Coordinate with production, quality, and other functions for seamless plant operations.
Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, environmental standards, and safety requirements.
Implement modern maintenance practices (TPM, RCM, Lean Maintenance, 5S).
Prepare reports on maintenance KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, equipment uptime, and energy efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
Certification in Maintenance Management/TPM/RCM will be an added advantage.
4-9 years of experience in plant or industrial maintenance.
Experience in mechanical manufacturing, minerals, or heavy engineering industries preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Hands-on expertise in predictive and preventive maintenance tools/techniques.
Familiarity with ISO standards, OHSAS, and statutory compliance.
Ability to analyze technical data, interpret equipment manuals, and troubleshoot effectively.
