Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Strategy
Identify new commodities, trading opportunities, and global partnerships.
Develop and execute business plans for expansion in metals/minerals trading.
Build and maintain strong supplier, customer, and financial institution relationships.
Operations & Execution
Manage supply chain sourcing, quality, logistics, shipping, documentation.
Oversee risk management: contracts, pricing, hedging, and compliance.
Implement efficient processes for procurement, warehousing, and exports.
Leadership & People Management
Lead and mentor a small but growing team.
Act as the
right hand to the MD
in decision-making and execution.
Build systems for transparency, reporting, and accountability.
Finance & Commercials
Track P&L, working capital cycles, and vendor/customer payments.
Liaise with banks, investors, and stakeholders for trade finance.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience:
10+ years in
commodity trading / metals & minerals / international trade
with proven track record.
Strong understanding of
supply chain, international contracts, pricing, and negotiations
.
Prior experience in scaling a business or handling independent P&L will be a big plus.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to work closely with promoters in a fast-paced setup.
