Deployment Specialist

Role: - Project Delivery Engineer

Office Location

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and integrate Mavenir products for our global customers.
• Integration & Testing with Telecom product
• Perform software and hardware configuration changes related to Mavenir products in customer test Lab or live environments.
• Create project-related documentation such as method of procedures, acceptance testing documentation, high and low level designs.
• Participate in technical workshops, customer meetings and other project activities (End to End Delivery).
• Communicate and cooperate with customer representatives and project team on technical issues, deliveries and project lifecycle plans.

Qualifications

·        B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA(Bachelors / Masters) or equivalent from reputed colleges with good academics records

·        12 - 15 years of experience on telecom products preferably testing & deployment of 2G / 3G / 4G / 5G products

Skillsets

·        Good understanding on Dockers & Kubernetes, OCP, AWS.and VMware Tanzu.

·        Good understanding on Operating systems (Linux, Solaris), Virtualization (VmWare & Hypervisor), usage of networking Sniffers (Wireshark ) & O&M tools .

·        Hands on any scripting language preferably UNIX / Linux, Perl, LUA, & any database (SQL / Oracle).

·        Ability to visualize E2E network & sensitivity around handling live network. Working experience on l2 and L3 switches from HP and CISCO, Load Balancer etc.

·        Basics of Mobile and IP network working & call flow, Overview of ITU - T / ANSI, 3GPP telecom standards / protocol is desired.

·        Knowledge of Wireless Networks and Telecom protocols such as SIP, Diameter,SS7, SIGTRAN, SNMP, MAP,INAP,ISUP, CAP, LDAP, SMPP, IMAP, HTTP, Web Services,. SIP expert level knowledge is must

·        Well familiar with SMSC / MMSC / Voicemail protocols, procedures and E2E flows like MO / MT / AO SMS, SMSC features like Flash Alerts & Reports, Short Code, Location SMS, and SMS Firewall features

·        Overview of 4G network and good understanding of RCS / IPSMGW nodes

·        Familiar with Virtualization & NFV, Apache, , HA, Red Hat Cluster

·        Experience with VERITAS Cluster, EMC and NetApp storage an advantage.

·        Hardware knowledge of HP enclosures , San switch, 3 PAR etc.

Desirable:-

Past experience on ex-Acision or ex-Comverse products.
