About the company

Our client is a leading Retail partners for global brands in the computer and consumer products category, operating their Exclusive Brand Outlets (showroom) across South India.

Job Type

Full-time | In-office | No WFH | 6 days (Mon - Sat) | Regular Shift

Job Summary

The person plays a critical role in managing the end-to-end business lifecycle of assigned products or categories. This includes overseeing product performance, pricing, procurement, marketing coordination, and inventory planning to ensure revenue growth, profitability, and efficient business operations.

Key Deliverables

Collaborate with the team to create and execute annual demand generation plans.
Manage procurement activities in line with budgets and demand forecasts.
Maintain optimal stock levels (WoS) and ensure efficient inventory movement to maximize stock churn.
Handle liquidation of aging, defective, or slow-moving inventory.
Validate and process vendor/supplier claims based on agreed terms and conditions.
Ensure timely resolution of escalations and maintain commercial compliance.
Collaborate closely with internal teams including Business, Marketing, Finance, Commercial, and Facilities.

Desired Candidate

Any graduate with 5 to 10 years of experience in product/category management, preferably in IT products or consumer electronics.
Strong business acumen with a focus on P&L management.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Simplicity) for stock and invoicing management.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
