Job SummaryWe are looking for a responsible and alert Night Operations Executive to manage and monitor night-time transport operations. The role involves coordinating vehicle movements, tracking trips, handling drivers, ensuring timely dispatches, and resolving operational issues during the night shift to ensure smooth logistics operations. Key ResponsibilitiesNight Transport OperationsMonitor and manage all night shift vehicle movements Ensure timely dispatch and arrival of vehicles Coordinate with drivers for trip updates and route status Handle breakdowns, delays, accidents, or emergency situations Driver & Fleet CoordinationAllocate vehicles and drivers as per night schedules Ensure drivers follow route plans and safety norms Maintain driver attendance and shift handover details Tracking & ReportingTrack vehicles using GPS / tracking systems Update trip status, loading/unloading time, and delivery confirmations Maintain night shift logbooks, trip sheets, and POD follow-ups Customer & Internal CoordinationCoordinate with customers, warehouses, and hubs for night dispatches Communicate delivery status to clients and internal teams Escalate critical issues to management immediately Compliance & DocumentationEnsure vehicle documents, permits, insurance, and E-way bills are valid Check FASTag balance and toll movement Record fuel, advances, and expenses during night operations Shift HandoverPrepare detailed night shift handover report for the day team Highlight delays, issues, pending deliveries, and exceptions Qualifications & SkillsGraduate / Diploma preferred (10+2 minimum) 1–4 years of experience in logistics / transport operations Knowledge of road transport, routes, and fleet operations Ability to work independently during night hours Good communication skills in Hindi / English (regional language added advantage) Basic computer knowledge (Excel, email, GPS systems) Preferred SkillsExperience in 24x7 fleet operations or control tower Familiarity with GPS tracking, FASTag, and E-way bills Problem-solving ability under pressure Compensation & BenefitsFixed salary + night shift allowance Overtime / performance incentives Growth opportunities in operations and fleet management
