They are involved in the identification of need, finding and qualifying the suppliers, requesting proposals, negotiating with suppliers, contracting, delivery and analyzing results.Understand when & how to use a request for proposal (price and non-price factors) and RFQ (price only) and how to develop, execute and analyze the results. Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative information to assess, screen and select suppliers.

Roles and Responsibilities: ?¢Partner with clients/suppliers to identify and drive cost/ improvement opportunities through sourcing initiatives?¢Lead and execute sourcing projects including strategy development, RFQ/RFP execution, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations and supplier contract execution ?¢Detailed knowledge of complex data management and analysis?¢Guide team members on distilling relevant insights from large volumes of complex data?¢Apply market knowledge to provide client with relevant insights ?¢Lead a delivery Team?¢Coaching Team members on best practices of sourcing execution?¢Maintain overall team service delivery?¢Manage Knowledge Transfer from Internal / External teams on new processes?¢Setup SOP for new processes and meet SLA targets for existing ones?¢Ensure project staffing meets both skill and cost requirements?¢Ensure team members receive necessary training to remain relevant to clients?¢Provide mentorship to team members as they deliver on client work
