Delivery Head / Delivery Manager

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Client Delivery Ownership:

• Manage multiple concurrent client implementations, including integrations with client systems, APIs, and data sources.
• Serve as primary delivery contact for clients, ensuring smooth communication, expectation management, and escalation handling.
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical deliverables and ensure high-quality, timely implementations.

Operational Excellence:

• Define and enforce delivery governance frameworks, SLAs, KPIs, and reporting cadence.
• Continuously optimize delivery processes for speed, scalability, and efficiency.
• Ensure documentation and compliance across all projects.

Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead cross-functional teams spanning product, data, and engineering.
• Mentor and coach project managers and delivery leads to ensure ownership and accountability.
• Foster a culture of client satisfaction, quality, and operational excellence.

Technical & Process Acumen

• Understand APIs, data pipelines, system integrations, and SDLC processes.
• Collaborate with Product & Engineering teams to manage dependencies and troubleshoot delivery challenges.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement automation or process improvement initiatives.

Preferred Background

• 8-10 years of total experience, with 5+ years in client delivery, implementation, or system integration roles.
• Experience in external client project management, SaaS implementations, or data platform deliveries.
• Exposure to startups or mid-sized tech firms managing high-velocity, cross-functional delivery.
• Familiarity with vendor/client integrations (APIs, data ingestion, system onboarding).

Skills & Competencies:

• Delivery Management: Multi-project ownership, prioritization, governance frameworks.
• Technical Understanding: APIs, SDLC, data pipelines, system integrations.
• Client Management: Stakeholder handling, communication, escalation management.
• Leadership: Team mentoring, accountability, delivery culture.
• Analytical Mindset: Process optimization, bottleneck resolution.
• Tools Exposure: JIRA, Confluence, Asana, or equivalent PM tools.

Good-to-Have:

• Experience in SaaS, data products, fintech, or API-driven environments.
• Exposure to Agile / Waterfall hybrid delivery models.
• Hands-on understanding of data quality, ETL, analytics delivery workflows.
