Job Summary

Lead and manage a team of professionals responsible for developing and implementing IIoT solutions.
Define the overall IIoT strategy for the company, aligning with business goals and technical feasibility.
Develop and manage budgets for IIoT projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Select, implement, and manage IIoT platforms, sensors, and other technologies.
Oversee the collection, analysis, and visualization of IIoT data.
Identify and implement strategies to ensure data security and privacy.
Develop and implement machine learning models to derive insights from IIoT data.
Partner with other departments (e.g., engineering, operations, IT) to integrate IIoT solutions into existing workflows.
Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in IIoT technologies and best practices.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment
In-depth understanding of IIoT technologies, platforms, and architectures.
Strong experience with data analytics, machine learning, and cloud computing concepts.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus.
Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities

Collaborate with customers, hardware vendors, and internal architects/team members to plan and deliver the entire project by doing proper planning, communication, and risk mitigation, and being on top of all the areas.
Influence with businesses/end users on a broad range of technical and operational topics. Must become a trusted advisor to the customers and/or internal businesses/end users.
Capable enough to do Site surveys alone and able to Understand the client and Project requirements.
Analysis for market availability(competitors) w.r.t. budget and quality.
Creating Techno commercial proposal of H/W components (I/O cards, Switches, OPC server/PLC/HMI/SCADA, gateways etc).
BOM/BOQ preparation and finalization for different projects as per project specific requirement.
Capable enough to handle all field execution work at remote locations.
Planning, designing of control networks on field instrumentation/communication devices.
Capable of conducting FAT. Installation Commissioning & Testing of Communication box at site
Cables laying, ferruling, termination, integration of field devices with communication box, communication testing & trouble shooting.
Getting the Tag values of field devices in Edge gateways and Configuration of Edge gateways/ IIOT Gateways.
Preparation of daily progress report and sending to all concerned persons.
Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices, quality gating, reviews and habits.
Work as part of the team where team may be virtual, global, and/or multifunctional, by addressing complex issues. Onboarding, mentoring and coaching, appraising should be part of daily routine.
