AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. You ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Manage and coordinate Base Build Equipment maintenance across all sites Serve as the primary point of contact for environmental compliance and regulatory interactions Oversee facility maintenance contracts with comprehensive monitoring and performance tracking Coordinate and manage critical resource management including fuel, water, and landscaping services Prepare and manage governmental and regulatory site inspections, including unannounced visits from electrical inspectors, pollution control boards, and labor departments About the team Diverse Experiences Amazon values diverse experiences. Degree in technical disciplines such as: Electrical Engineering /Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering Demonstrated experience in data center operations Comprehensive understanding of mission-critical system environments Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline Comprehensive knowledge of data center electrical systems including transformers, switch gear, and power distribution units Experience with SCADA systems and advanced monitoring technologies Knowledge of sustainable infrastructure design principles Proficient understanding of mechanical systems such as HVAC, cooling towers, and environmental control technologies Experience with system design, procurement, and technical implementation Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
