As a DC Manager based in Bangalore, your role will involve overseeing the overall management of the Pune Distribution Center. Here are the key responsibilities you will be handling: - **Overall DC Management:** - Lead, manage, and optimize all activities within the Pune Distribution Center, including warehousing, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping to ensure smooth and efficient operations. - **Leadership & Team Management:** - Provide leadership to a diverse team of managers, supervisors, warehouse staff, and administrative personnel. - Responsible for recruitment, training, performance management, and fostering a positive work culture. - **Operational Efficiency:** - Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency in warehouse operations. - Ensure processes like receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management are optimized for speed and accuracy. - **Inventory Management:** - Oversee inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize stockouts and excess inventory. - Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure timely and accurate product replenishments. - **Safety & Compliance:** - Ensure all operations within the distribution center comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. - Lead safety initiatives and conduct regular safety audits to mitigate risks. - **Budget Management & Cost Control:** - Manage the budget for the Pune DC to ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining high service levels. - Regularly monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising operational standards. - **Customer Satisfaction:** - Collaborate closely with the customer service team to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately, on time, and meet customer expectations. - Address any issues related to customer orders promptly and efficiently. - **Technology Integration & Systems Management:** - Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other logistics technologies to streamline operations, improve productivity, and maintain accurate inventory tracking. - **Performance Metrics & Reporting:** - Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and employee productivity. - Provide regular performance reports and insights to senior leadership. - **Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement:** - Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the distribution center to enhance operational performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with business goals.,
