Job Description

Monitor servers, storage systems, and network devices using standard monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds).
Respond to alerts and outages; escalate issues to senior engineers as needed.
Responsible for installation configuration of operating system and basic troubleshooting.
Call log with OEM and resolve the issue.
Perform regular system checks to ensure uptime and performance.
Install, rack, cable, and label servers, switches, firewalls, and storage hardware.
Ensure proper cable management and cleanliness of data center environments.
Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of rack layouts, cabling maps, and device locations.
Track and manage asset inventory (serial numbers, locations, warranty status).
Follow data center access policies and procedures to ensure physical security.
