Database Architect

As a Database Architect, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of database systems to ensure data integrity, scalability, performance, and security across all platforms used in the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure database architectures. - Develop efficient database solutions for storing and retrieving company data. - Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize application-database interaction. - Evaluate and implement monitoring, automation, and performance tuning tools. - Establish and enforce database standards, policies, and procedures. - Conduct regular database health checks and performance assessments. - Implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies. - Support migration of legacy systems to modern database platforms (on-prem and cloud). - Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies. **Required Skills And Qualifications:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 8+ years of experience in database architecture and administration. - Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL. - Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra is a plus. - Strong understanding of database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization. - Hands-on experience with cloud databases like AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL. - Familiarity with ETL pipelines, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts. - Proficient in data security, encryption, and access control best practices. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
