Database Architect

As a Database Integration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in anticipating and resolving database integration issues for technical infrastructures of all complexities. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing thought leadership for the use, design, and implementation of database management systems (DBMS). You will also be responsible for coordinating and managing activities of multiple DBMS resources on a large project or account, educating and providing methodology consulting to clients and organization personnel, and mentoring less experienced team members. Your key responsibilities will include: - Anticipating and resolving database integration issues - Providing thought leadership for DBMS use, design, and implementation - Coordinating and managing activities of multiple DBMS resources - Educating and providing methodology consulting to clients and organization personnel - Mentoring less experienced team members - Providing database-related technical expertise to application development and global infrastructure efforts - Organizing and motivating project teams - Ensuring clear communication of deadlines, assignments, and objectives - Preparing periodic reports on unit activities and goal attainment progress - Providing input to the development of vision and specifying key performance requirements - Leading in influencing client expectations and ensuring client satisfaction - Contributing to engagements on a national level based on recognized expertise - Participating in proposal efforts and developing strategies to win business in new markets or current accounts Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience - Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or related field preferred - Twelve or more years of experience in data/database architecture - Experience working with Catalyst and/or equivalent client or vendor-mandated methodology - Experience working with differences between database structures, such as transaction-based vs. data warehouse - Experience working with software packages or classes of packages within technical expertise Please note that you will work in a client or office environment, with the possibility of remote work.
