Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator with expertise in Oracle and MongoDB to join our team in Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, and Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have 3.5 to 10 years of experience ensuring the smooth operation of our databases.
Roles and Responsibility

Lead problem diagnosis and resolution in a high availability multi-datacenter environment to ensure acceptable database availability and response time.

Proactively monitor for performance and availability issues to ensure smooth and efficient database operations.

Provide timely and effective problem resolution during regular work hours.

Configure and install business-critical databases based on business requirements gathered from application development teams and business users.

Ensure compliance with audit, security, and regulatory requirements.

Provide DBA support for complex software installation and maintenance, including major upgrades.

Understand and commit to protecting the integrity, security, and privacy of the firm's critical business data.

Support data replication, backup, and availability solutions.

Possess in-depth knowledge and experience in Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC).

Experience with database tools such as OEM/Grid, Toad, and Foglight database monitoring tool.

Knowledge of physical and logical replication, including disk-level replication, Quest Shareplex, or Oracle Data Guard.

Experience with database tuning, patching, and MongoDB software installation and standalone DB configuration.

Hands-on experience with MongoDB replica setup, backup and restoration, and multiple upgradation activities.

Experience with MongoDB DR test activity, switchovers, and failover activities.

Job

Minimum 3.5 years of experience as an enterprise Oracle DBA.

Mandatory skillsOracle DBA (Primary) + Mongo DBA (Secondary).

Experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC).

In-depth knowledge and experience in MongoDB.

Strong understanding of database concepts, including design, implementation, and management.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience with database tools such as OEM/Grid, Toad, and Foglight database monitoring tool.

Knowledge of physical and logical replication, including disk-level replication, Quest Shareplex, or Oracle Data Guard.
